We open BO accounts through BO account opening forms and online. The necessary information for opening an account is given below step by step;

GENERAL BO ACCOUNT

Filled up the BO account opening form (please collect a form from the office).
Passport Size Photo – 2 (Two) copies attested by the account holder.
National ID (NID) photocopy attested by the account holder.
Cheque Photocopy with routing number attested by the account holder.
Nominee’s Passport Size Photo 1 (One) copy attested by the account holder.
Nominee’s National ID (NID) photocopy is attested by the account holder.

JOINT ACCOUNT HOLDER’S

Filled up the BO account opening form (please collect a form from the office).
Passport Size Photo – 2 (Two) copies attested by the account holder.
National ID (NID) photocopy attested by the account holder.

NRB BO ACCOUNT

Filled up BO account opening form (please collect a form from the office).
Passport Size Photo – 2 (Two) copies attested by the account holder.
Photocopy of Passport/Social Security Card/Resident Card etc. duly attested
Local Foreign Currency Bank Account Statement in Bangladesh and a (optional) Local Bank Account Statement
Employment certificate/trade license/work permit or Pay slip/tax return document photocopy as proof of earning status of the NRB
Nominee’s Passport Size Photo 1 (One) copy attested by the account holder.
The nominee’s National ID (NID) photocopy is attested by the account holder.
A nominated person with POA (Power of Attorney) who will sign trading documents on behalf of the NRB Account holder while he/she is abroad. His/her photo (attested by the NRB Account Holder)
